Rosuvastatin 10 mg (as pellets) & Clopidogrel Bisulphate (as pellets) 75 mg Capsules
Rosuvastatin+clopidogrel is prescribed to prevent future heart attack and stroke. It reduces the elevated level of cholesterol and fats (triglycerides) in our body. Heart attack is a situation where your coronary arteries (arteries supplying blood and oxygen to the heart) get blocked by the accumulation of fats (plaque), which include cholesterol.
Rosuvastatin+clopidogrel consists of two drugs, Rosuvastatin and Clopidogrel. Consequently, it decreases the bad cholesterol (low-density lipoproteins or LDL), triglycerides (TG) and raises the good cholesterol (high-density lipoproteins or HDL). Clopidogrel is an anticoagulant (blood thinner) which together inhibits a clot in the blood vessels. Together, Rosuvastatin+clopidogrel lowers the elevated levels of undesirable cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein and triglycerides) and inhibits blood clots, thus lowering and preventing the chances of heart attack, stroke and chest pain related to the heart (angina).
Rosuvastatin is a drug that is used to lower lipids and inhibits the enzyme needed to produce cholesterol in the body. Consequently, it reduces the bad cholesterol (low-density lipoproteins or LDL) and triglycerides (TG) and elevates good cholesterol (high-density lipoproteins or HDL) levels. Clopidogrel is an anticoagulant or blood thinner that collectively inhibits a blood clot. Rosuvastatin+clopidogrel together lowers the raised levels of the bad cholesterol (triglycerides and low-density lipoprotein) and avoids blood clots, thus lowering the chances of heart attack, stroke, and pain in the chest due to heart (angina).
Take Rosuvastatin+clopidogrel whole with water; do not chew, crush, or break.
